Diversity Policy
DailySouthAfricanPulseNews is an independent and impartial news platform that operates in the public interest. Our content is crafted to inform, educate, and entertain readers without political or external influence. We fund our operations independently, ensuring full creative freedom and editorial integrity. These standards are reviewed regularly and published transparently.
Editorial Standards and Ethics
We are committed to the highest editorial standards. Our mission is to report stories that are significant and relevant to our readers. Articles aim for fairness, accuracy, and balanced opinion. We maintain independence from external interests and publish original, well-analyzed content. In cases of potential conflict of interest, disclaimers are added to ensure transparency.
Hate Speech and Bullying
We do not publish content that promotes hatred, discrimination, harassment, or bullying. Content must not target individuals or groups based on race, religion, disability, nationality, sexual orientation, gender identity, or similar characteristics.
Safety and Inappropriate Content
We prohibit the publication of material that promotes harm, violence, adult content, or illegal activity. Articles will never contain malware, explicit sexual content, or non-consensual themes. Family-safe content is a priority. Child safety is non-negotiable, and we fully comply with legal obligations.
Copyright
All published material must respect third-party rights including copyright, trademarks, and privacy. We will only infringe on privacy if there is a clear and justifiable public interest. Material from social media is used responsibly, considering its original context and the user’s privacy expectations.
Verification / Fact-Checking Policy
We verify all facts, statistics, and sources to uphold credibility. Editors prioritize first-hand sources, corroborate claims, and contextualize statements before publication. We avoid publishing disinformation, misinformation, or mal-information. Each article clearly differentiates between fact and opinion.
Unnamed Sources Policy
When possible, we attribute all information to named sources. We may use unnamed sources if the information is credible and poses risk to the source’s livelihood. Editors are responsible for protecting their identities and following all applicable legal guidelines. Aggregated material will always cite the original source.
Corrections Policy
If errors are found, we act quickly to correct them. Minor errors may be quietly edited, while significant changes will carry an editor’s note. If an article is substantially inaccurate, it may be unpublished in full.
Actionable Feedback Policy
We welcome all feedback, whether positive or critical. Readers can reach out to contact@dailysouthafricanpulse.co.za, and we commit to addressing concerns promptly.
